The whole idea

Two things every other tool fuses. We keep them apart.

EXECUTION Must be local Because it touches the document. There is no version of “we looked at your contract” that is private.

AUTHORISATION Can be anywhere Because it is one fact about an account. Whether you have credit is not a secret about your file.

Cloud document APIs put both on their server. That is why using one means uploading your contract — a structural property of their product, not an oversight.

Each app publishes its own functions as callable tools. Your agent asks for a redaction, a subtitle track or a background removal, and the work happens on your machine — whatever the format.

Tools take and return file paths, never contents. A tool result travels back through the model, so a video or a contract would land in the agent's context — and, on a hosted model, on someone else's servers. It never does.
